HDB Cool Ideas Hack 2020 was a 100% virtual three day hackathon held from 18 - 20 Sep 2020; 462 registered participants from 12 countries came together to ideate, design and build smart and sustainable solutions for the Heartlands of Tomorrow.

The focus for HDB Cool Ideas Hack 2020 was creating solutions for "Myself", "My Home" & "My Neighbourhood".

Devise a plan to develop, and contribute to the vision of better living for your HDB neighbourhood.

Together with the 5 teams shortlisted from Call for Ideas, 9 teams from HDB Cool Ideas Hack 2020 were selected for the 4-week Pre-Accelerator programme. Over the last 4 weeks, the teams worked on validating their solutions, building their business models and identifying product-market fit while developing their prototype at the same time. After an intensive 4 weeks, the teams shared their first milestones at Pitch Day!
